S.T.A.L.K.E.R. developer killed in battle near Bakhmut
Volodymyr Yezhov, a Ukrainian e-sportsman who developed the famous game S.T.A.L.K.E.R., has killed in action near Bakhmut.
His death was reported by Yezhov's brother.
"My brother, father of 2 children, a loyal friend with a sincere heart died defending Ukraine. He used to say that in the struggle that the Ukrainian people are now waging, the happy future of our children is born. I hope you are better world, brother", Vyacheslav Yezhov wrote.
Volodymyr Yezhov worked at the Ukrainian company GSC GameWorld and was one of the developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. He was the prototype for the face of a character in the game named Loki, leader of the Freedom detachment.
