Staged referendum in Kherson region: propagandists create a picture of mass filling in of ballots, but the empty "polling stations" are guarded by Russian troops

The journalist, who is in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, reports live on air in the Yedyni Novyni TV marathon.

"From the very morning, photos and videos of pictures taken by the occupying Russian authorities in Kherson began to appear. We saw a photo of the so-called bulletin, the question is: are you in favor of the exit of Kherson Oblast from Ukraine, the formation of Kherson Oblast as an independent state and the entry its part of the Russian Federation with the rights of a subject of the Russian Federation?" - the journalist said.

Propagandists report that 198 "polling stations" have been opened in the Kherson region. Yuriy Sobolevsky, the Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council, confirmed this information and emphasized that at least 8 armed Russian Guards were on each of them.

In fact, the so-called precincts are empty, the journalist continues: "Of course, the occupiers create a picture. For example, from one "precinct", the media leaked a video where people seem to fill out these ballots en masse. It is interesting that even the booths that should be in a normal democratic vote are not there".

The people of Kherson themselves said that they stocked up on food and water and do not plan to go out during these 5 days, will not open the door to strangers, and will not answer calls from Russian numbers.

Yesterday in Kherson were so-called city gas workers.

"We tried to find out who lives where, but people did not open. They say that they will open, unless they break the doors. This information was also confirmed to us by Yuriy Sobolevskyi, the deputy head of the regional council. He said that the heads of condominiums can join, organize "voting"  right in the house or the entrance. The methods of the illegal occupying power are also illegal," the journalist added.
