President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, during which the participants discussed the situation in the Bakhmut sector

According to the statement, the military reported on the current situation at the front. The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the issue of providing the necessary weapons and ammunition to the defenders of Bakhmut.
Intelligence also provided information on possible enemy actions in the near future.
"In addition, the participants of the meeting considered candidates for appointment as heads of military administrations in a number of regions," the press service of the presidential office said.

On February 3, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that the Armed Forces would not surrender Bakhmut.
