Spain agrees to train Ukrainian military to operate Leopards - media
Madrid has agreed to train the Ukrainian military to handle Leopard tanks. So far, 54 Ukrainians have been accepted for training
The Cadena SER radio network reports that Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has asked Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles to train Ukrainian soldiers to drive Leopard tanks. After that, according to the radio network's sources, Madrid agreed to accept 54 Ukrainians for training.
The training for Ukrainians in Spain will last for two and a half months. Although for the moment, Spain has not specifically detailed how many tanks that it is going to send to Ukraine.
