Some journalists are stripped of their press cards for unapproved work in Kherson
Media workers who violated the order of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhny in Kherson had their work permits revoked in the area of active hostilities
This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Individual journalists working in Kherson were deprived of the right to work in the areas of hostilities.
"Recently, some media representatives, ignoring existing prohibitions and warnings, without the consent of the relevant commanders and public relations services of military units, carried out information activities in the city of Kherson even before the completion of stabilization measures," the appeal says.
The General Staff explains: media workers did not coordinate their actions with the military, thereby violating the order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine No. 73 dated 03.03.2022 and other relevant command documents. Now these journalists will not be able to work in war zones.
