Slovakia will not support new package of sanctions against Russia without decisions on gas and oil – Fico
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has issued an ultimatum on energy supplies in exchange for support for the 18th package of sanctions against Russia

"The Slovak Republic will not support the upcoming 18th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation if the European Commission does not provide it with a real solution to the crisis situation that Slovakia will find itself in after the complete cessation of gas, oil and nuclear fuel supplies from Russia," Fico said in a statement.
- The European Union is developing the 18th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation: European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said that the restrictions will target the Russian energy and banking sectors.
