Situation in Ukrainian energy system: emergency power outages in nine regions
As of 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, emergency power outages will operate in in Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Kyiv regions

The most difficult situation remains in the central, eastern and Dnipro regions.
Emergency power outages schedules have been introduced in Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv regions and the capital.
"Critical infrastructure facilities are prioritized, restoration of energy supply to household consumers may take a long time," the company emphasized.
The power system maintains a stable frequency of 50 Hz, Ukrenergo adds.
Repair crews are constantly working.

As of December 18, emergency restoration works are ongoing in Ukraine: there is a shortage of energy in the system due to frost and damage to infrastructure after Russian shelling.
