Situation in Bakhmut is extremely tense - Deputy Commander Kudryashov
Deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade Major Rodion Kudryashov says fighting in the Bakhmut direction continues around the clock, but the situation is under control
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The situation in Bakhmut is extremely tense. The enemy is trying to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is doing everything to advance. The situation is tense but fully controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. We are employing maneuver defense and counterattacking the problem areas," noted Kudryashov.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces major, fighting in the Bakhmut direction continues around the clock.
"When infantry battles are going on and we are restoring positions and storming the enemy's positions, our units are literally getting into the enemy's trenches and knocking the enemy out of the trenches. We are engaged in small arms fire at a distance of 10-50 meters," emphasized Kudryashov.

The situation around Bakhmut, Donetsk region, remains complicated, Wagner PMC assault units are advancing from several directions trying to break through the Ukrainian defense.
