Shoigu claims Belarus has received Iskanders capable of using nuclear weapons

Belarus has received from Russia Iskander-M tactical missile systems capable of using a nuclear charge

This was announced by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

"Some Belarusian attack aircraft have gained the ability to strike enemy targets with nuclear weapons. In addition, the Iskander-M operational and tactical missile system was handed over to the Belarusian armed forces. It can use missiles in both conventional and nuclear versions," the head of the Russian defense ministry said.

He also said that since April 3, training of Belarusian forces on how to use the system has begun at one of the Russian training grounds.

Shoigu emphasized that the Russian army will continue its armed aggression against Ukraine.
