Seven Russian ships are still on duty in Black Sea, submarine missile carrier among them — OC South

OC South spokeswoman Natalia Humeniuk reported that as of March 28, seven ships remain on duty in the Black Sea, including one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles

She reported this on Espreso TV.

"Weather conditions significantly affect enemy activity in the Black Sea. Storm warning has been announced in the Black Sea for several days. Therefore, the number of Russian warships in the Black Sea has decreased to seven. The enemy has left one submarine missile carrier on duty, the total salvo of which is up to four Kalibr missiles,” Humeniuk said.

She emphasized that the threat of missile attacks from the Black Sea remains throughout Ukraine.

"Currently, Russians are not so actively using missile carriers in the Black Sea to launch Kalibr missiles on Ukraine. However, the threat still remains. After all, missile launches from underwater are more difficult to detect by our air defense systems. Therefore, it is quite likely that the Russians will actively use aviation, although it also depends on the weather," she added.
