Selection of fresh Russian fakes published by Center for Countering Disinformation

According to Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, on August 18, the Russians launched three major deceptions. 

Fake: The Russian Telegram channel "Pervyi Kharkovskiy" writes that "a large-scale wave of mobilization is planned in Ukraine: the Armed Forces intend to draft 150,000 militants".

Disinformation: "Ukrainian troops regularly hit Donetsk with cluster munitions, all these facts have been recorded," said Yan Gagin, assistant to the Russian-installed DPR leader. 

Manipulation: Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Lukashenko said that "Ukraine will lose all its territories if it continues to wage war against Russia".
