Security Service detains Russian agents for providing coordinates of Ukrainian targets to Russian forces for Mykolaiv region shelling

The Ukrainian Security Service has detained Russian agents who 'leaked' the positions of the Armed Forces to help invading Russian forces adjust their targeting in the shelling of the Mykolaiv region. They face up to 12 years in prison

The Security Service reported this in its Telegram channel.

"The Security Service exposed Russian agents whose information about the location of the Armed Forces units and the location of infrastructure facilities was used by the occupiers for the recent rocket attacks on Mykolaiv and Bashtanka," the department emphasized.

Russian agents turned out to be residents of the Mykolaiv region, who passed the collected information to the curator through well-established closed communication channels. During the searches, computers and phones with evidence were taken from them.

The adjusters of Russian fire were detained, they were informed of the suspicion. Perpetrators face 8-12 years in prison. Investigations are now underway to identify and prosecute all those involved in the crimes.
