Secretary of NSDC gives order to turn off Pryamiy, 5th and Espreso TV channels from state digital broadcasting network

Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, ordered to turn off Pryamiy, 5th and Espreso TV channels from the state digital broadcasting network

Volodymyr Ariev, People's deputy from European Solidarity, reported on Facebook.

"On April 3, under his signature, NSDC issued a ciphered number Sh 3-04/1t, which was labeled "secret". I have the text of this document, which, unfortunately, I cannot publish because of this label. Danilov, citing  by presidential decree No. 152/2022 "On the decision of NSDC dated March 18, regarding implementation of unified information policy under martial law" ordered to turn off three channels from the state digital broadcasting network. The agency to which order was given is not named - it has its own code in the text", the message says.

According to him, in fact, no secret information is contained in the cyphergram.

"Unless the desire to illegally turn off three TV channels not under the control of Bankova street, as an example of arbitrariness and selectivity in the implementation of presidential decree. It is selectivity, because channel 4 of traitor Kovalev or channel 24 under control of Sadovyi, although different from "united TV marathon" broadcasting, are untouched in the state digital broadcasting. Therefore, the word "secretly" in this case hides not information, but illegal action", Ariev wrote.

People's Deputy emphasized that "sooner or later all bad deeds of the government will become obvious".

"And now, when it became known about mechanism of combating media independent of the authorities, I claim that if authorities do not stop acting with means of Russian measure, it will harm Ukraine, as a state that pays for the right of freedom with blood", he noted.
