According to Scholtz, the European Union needs to carry out radical reforms in order to prepare for the reception of new members.
"The countries of the Western Balkans, Ukraine, Moldova and, in the future, Georgia should become part of the EU. This expansion is in favor of the European Union. These days, the question arises again about where the border between free Europe and neo-imperialist autocracy will be in the future," Scholz said on August 29 during a speech at Charles University in Prague.
