SBU detains 41-year-old Kharkiv man for correcting fire in enemy shelling of Kharkiv region

Ukraine's SBU has detained a 41-year-old man from Kharkiv who was acting as a spy for the Russian Federation.

This information was shared by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

SBU operatives have exposed a 41-year-old Kharkov resident who collected information about Ukrainian army locations, and other sensitive data such as precise coordinates of military equipment and defensive formations, and shared it with Russia. 

The traitor, who was seized with 3 mobile phones containing evidence of illegal activity and notebooks with records of intelligence information, was detained. He was informed that he was under suspicion per part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law). Punishment under this article includes imprisonment for a term of 15 years or life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Currently, investigations are underway to identify and bring to justice everyone involved in such activities.
