SBI investigates more than 230 proceedings for treason and collaborationism. Among the defendants are the military who switched to the side of the invader during the annexation of Crimea

The people involved in the proceedings are heads of village councils, deputies of different levels, officials, judges, law enforcement officers and military personnel.

More such cases are being investigated by the Territorial Administration of the Kramatorsk SBI. Here, 109 proceedings are open for high treason, 74 for collaboration activities.

On the fact of treason, most of the proceedings concern law enforcement officers. Also, investigators of the Kramatorsk SBI are investigating criminal proceedings against an employee of one of the forestry enterprises who collaborated with the invaders.

The Territorial Administration of the SBI of Poltava initiated 15 criminal proceedings for high treason, one for collaboration activities. The suspects are law enforcement officers, deputies of local councils and the head of one of the district courts.

The Territorial Administration of the SBI of Melitopol initiated 18 proceedings: 16 - for treason, 2 - for collaboration activities.

The Territorial Administration of the SBI of Mykolaiv initiated 8 proceedings: 4 each for high treason and collaboration activities. Among the defendants are three servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who in 2014, during the annexation of Crimea, swore allegiance and went over to the side of the invader. In February 2022, deserters "returned" to Ukraine, as part of the Russian army, and participated in the hostilities of the Mykolaiv region. They were arrested in early March.

The Territorial Administration of the SBI of Lviv initiated 6 proceedings for high treason, and the Territorial Administration of the SBI of Kyiv initiated 5 proceedings for high treason and collaboration activities.
