According to the diplomat, it is pointless to discuss this before a representative of the European Commission visits the Slovak capital, Bratislava.
“The package is mostly agreed upon. For the two delegations to withdraw their objections, other issues need to be resolved. One delegation has a problem. Another supports it. But formally, these are two separate objections,” the source said.
Earlier, in his address, Robert Fico announced that a special mission from the European Commission is expected to arrive in Slovakia next week to discuss the REPowerEU proposal.
