Russia’s loss of Kherson will be seismic blow to Russian public opinion - Budanov
The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Russian troops could be knocked out of Kherson in November.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram.
In a comment for the British edition of Inews, Budanov noted that the occupying forces could be knocked out of Kherson as early as next month, and this would be a seismic blow to Russian public opinion and destroy the narratives about their own invincibility and about Ukraine.
Budanov also emphasized that the Russians will not succeed in demoralizing the Ukrainians with strikes on critical infrastructure.
"Russian attacks on infrastructure were planned weeks in advance. The Kremlin uses winter as a weapon, trying to demoralize people who remain strong despite all the brutality inflicted on them by the occupiers," Budanov assured.
On October 29, Kyrylo Budanov said that the operation to liberate Kherson could last until the end of November.
