The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a compilation of Russian-produced disinformation on September 1
Espreso TV reported the information.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on September 1, Russia launched three major deceptions.
Manipulation: Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that "the deployment of weapons production facilities in Ukraine will not contribute to the settlement of the conflict."
Disinformation: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that "Saudi Arabia informed Russia that the meeting in Jeddah regarding Ukraine was intended to convey the pointlessness of discussions without Russian participation."
Manipulation: "The grain deal was halted, and it was not Russia's fault. It can be resumed if the Russian Federation fulfills all its promises," said Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu.
- On September 1, Russian propaganda also spread a fake that Ukraine had become the largest supplier of children to illegal human trafficking markets.
