The Russian embassy published a statement about this on Twitter.
"Azov militants deserve execution, but death not by firing squad but by hanging, because they're not real soldiers. They deserve a humiliating death", the Russian Embassy to the UK wrote.
The tweet caused a stormy reaction on the network. Twitter flagged it as violating the network's hate speech rules, but kept it available in the public interest.
????#Azov militants deserve execution, but death not by firing squad but by hanging, because they’re not real soldiers. They deserve a humiliating death.
