"At night, Rivne region was subjected to a massive attack by drones. Unfortunately, the oil depot in Dubno district was destroyed. There were no casualties," the statement reads.
It is noted that 45 rescuers and 14 units of equipment are operating at the scene. A fire train is also involved. The investigative commissions led by the heads of the regional law enforcement agencies are also engaged.
"The chemical and radiation background is normal. Evacuation of the population will not be used," the administration emphasized.
Khmelnytskyi region
Air defense forces were operating in the region.
"Last night, during the air alert, Khmelnytskyi region was again under the enemy's sights. We heard explosions in the region. Air defense forces were operating," said Serhiy Tyurin, first deputy head of the regional military administration.
Kyiv region
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported on air defense operations in the Kyiv region on Telegram.
"The movement of enemy UAVs has been detected. Air defense is operating in the region. Please observe information hygiene - do not take pictures or film the work of Ukraine's defenders. Do not neglect safety rules. Stay in the shelters until the air raid is over," the administration said in a statement.
Later, the Kyiv Regional Administration reported that no hits were recorded and there were no casualties.
"According to preliminary information, there was no falling wreckage. Operational groups continue to work to identify possible damage," the statement reads.
Earlier, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces warned that Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine are under threat of a strike by Russian kamikaze drones.
The danger is gradually spreading to the west. However, no air alert was announced in the capital.
At around 3:40 a.m., an air alert was declared in almost all regions of western Ukraine. In particular, in Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Volyn, Ternopil, and Lviv regions.
The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, warned of the threat of drone strikes in the region and neighboring regions. At 4:15 a.m., the danger was over in all of Ukraine.
On the night of August 10, the Russian military launched 10 drones over the territory of Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense destroyed seven of them, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports.
It is noted that the Russian army attacked Ukraine from the northeast, namely from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The attack lasted from 11 p.m. to 04 a.m.. The occupiers launched 10 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
"Air Defense Forces in cooperation with other Defense Forces units destroyed 7 enemy drones. Anti-aircraft guided missiles and small arms of direct cover units were used," the statement said.
