Russians used more explosive force in shelling Mariupol than Hiroshima bomb - Mariupol mayor

Mariupol City Council shared this information update.

For two months, Russia subjected Mariupol to relentless attacks from howitzer, missiles, tanks, ships and aircraft. They are also thought to have used used FAB-1000 and FAB-3000 high-explosive demolition bombs.

"Russia frightens the world with weapons of mass destruction, but actually they have carried out the massive destruction of Mariupol's civilian population. The Russian army has committed a crime against humanity. It's the largest genocide in Europe since the WWII. We estimate casualties to be a minimum of 20,000 people. But the recording of more and more mass graves shows that this assessment isn't final."
