Russian forces shell Luhansk region hospital, killing one woman - Gaidai

Luhansk Regional State Administration Head Sergiy Gaidai shared details of the strike.

Initial indicators are that Russian troops targeted the Severodonetsk hospital. Gaidai said that the hospital building was significantly damaged, with several floors affected at once.

A local resident was also killed in the shelling.

Gaidai also notes that, at the time of the strike, there was only two functional hospitals left in the region. One in Severodonetsk and one in Lysychansk.

Russian forces hit the first one in this attack.

"The Russians deliberately opened fire on the regional center’s medical facility. They knew the hospital was not empty, there were patients in various conditions along with doctors - this did not stop them. In fact, the Russians wanted to finish off the wounded and kill the doctors who help the locals survive", Gaidai claimed.

Despite the constant Russian shelling, the hospital continues to function.
