Russians, not from Kherson, come and vote: regional council head describes day 1 of Kremlin-staged referendum
A very small number of Ukrainians took part in the Kremlin-staged referendum in Kherson, not a single person is present at the polling stations, even in Moscow's propaganda videos.
Oleksandr Samoilenko, the head of the Kherson Regional Council, told it "Espreso.TV" live on air.
"The first day of the pseudo-referendum took place. No one came to the "polling station" except for trained collaborators who gave some interviews, but it was even the case that not a single person was inside," he noted.
According to Samoilenko, Russian occupiers visit houses in villages close to Kherson.
"They come to settled Russians and pretend that they vote. They show a Russian passport, say that they live here and want to join Russia. Even with all this picture that they tried to create in the Kherson region, the number of people who participated is really small. According to the results of the first day, Russians had a fantasized turnout of 15%, although this is a myth, because at least half of Kherson left," the official concluded.
