Russians mined Kakhovska HPP back in April, and this week brought additional explosives to the dam - Ukrainian intelligence
Russian occupying forces mined Kakhovka hydroelectric power station back in April. Currently, they mine locks and supports.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reports.
"The detonation of the dam was planned in advance - the main demining work was done back in April. During the current week, additional demining of the locks and supports of the Kakhov HPP was carried out," the press service writes.
Two military-tented KamAZs without drivers, fully loaded with boxes of explosives, are installed at the hydraulic construction.
"Today it is finally clear that the terrorist state is deliberately preparing terrorist attacks that will lead to catastrophic consequences. If these plans are implemented, dozens of Ukrainian settlements, including Kherson, will be hit by the elements. The scale of the ecological disaster in this case will go far beyond the borders of Ukraine and will affect the entire Black Sea region," the agency added.
