"It is important to note that when Russian forces announce evacuation from certain settlements, they are most likely preparing to regroup their troops. In other words, they are rehearsing the evacuation. We have repeatedly observed how they, preparing to flee from our cities, first announced the evacuation," explained Kyrylchuk.

The deputy of the Zaporizhzhia district council added that Russian forces are terrified of guerrillas in the temporarily occupied territories.

"During the week we have been receiving information from Enerhodar and Vasylkiv districts that Russian gauleiters are calling on civilians to evacuate to other occupied territories. Something similar happened before the right bank liberation of the Kherson region. Now Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories are afraid of everything.
