Russia attacks Ukraine with drones: agricultural enterprise damaged in Khmelnytskyi region

On the night of Tuesday, November 28, Russian terrorists launched Shahed attack drones from the south. Ukrainian air defense destroyed 21 UAVs

Reports of potential UAV attacks surfaced after 6:30 PM, with Shahed drones detected coming from the south. Russian forces launched these drones from temporarily held areas in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, advancing toward Kyiv and Vinnytsia.

According to the Kyiv regional military administration notification, the air defense system in the Kyiv region was activated after 9 PM. 

An air alert was issued by 9:15 in the Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions. By 9:35, the alert extended to the Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.

At 9:40 PM, the Air Force warned of potential UAV threats in all alerted regions. Suspilne noted explosions in the Khmelnytskyi region at 10 PM. The Kyiv alarm was lifted, while the Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi regions were placed on alert.

Serhiy Tyurin, the first deputy chief of the Khmelnytskyi regional military administration, provided updates on Air Defense Forces' actions in the region. By 10:23, drones were identified in the Shepetivka area.

In the morning, the Khmelnytskyi administration noted that as a result of the attack in the Shepetivka district, the roof, windows, and doors of the premises of the agricultural enterprise were damaged.

"All relevant services are addressing the issue," added the military administration.

Air defense destroys 21 UAVs and 2 Kh-59 missiles

Ukrainian Air Force reports that the enemy deployed Shahed-type attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk direction and Kh-59 guided air missiles from the airspace of the occupied Kherson region. In total, the aggressors launched 21 drones and 3 Kh-59 missiles.

The primary focus of the drone attacks was on Khmelnytskyi, while the missiles were aimed at the southern part of the country.

"After engaging in combat, all hostile attack UAVs were eliminated across the Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Khmelnytskyi regions. Additionally, two guided air missiles were successfully neutralized in the Mykolaiv region. The third one did not reach its intended target," stated the Armed Forces.
