Russians are trying to deprive Ukrainians of communication - the State Service for Special Communications

This was reported in the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

"The aggressor needs all this in order to hide information about the shameful defeat that the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflict on the invaders. To do this, the aggressor carries out sabotage on telecommunications infrastructure facilities, carries out air missile strikes and uses electronic warfare equipment. Ukraine has a worthy response to these actions of the orcs", the message says.

It is noted that operators and providers continue to provide communication with Ukraine by all possible forces and means.  For example, in Melitopol in Zaporizhzhya, Vodafone provided subscriber coverage from 0% to 90% within a day, and Kyivstar is improving the situation in Chernihiv.

The State Service for Special Communications added that national roaming works in Ukraine, allowing Ukrainians to connect to the networks of another operator if the network of their operator is not working.

It is reported that Ukrtelecom has resumed providing Internet services to subscribers in the cities of Genichesk, Kalanchak, Skadovsk, Askania-Nova, Chaplynka, Ivanivka and Nyzhni Sirogozy in the Kherson region. In the Zaporizhzhya region, the company resumed providing services in the city of Energodar.

The average availability of Ukrtelecom regional communication centers is 80%.  At the same time, due to network damage in some areas, this figure is low. Yes, in the Luhansk region it is at the level of 4%.  Services are not provided in the Chernihiv region.

The company is working to restore the network and provide services as soon as possible.

It is also reported that the mobile operator 3Mob provides all roaming services in the Vodafone Ukraine network, voice and SMS roaming services in lifecell and Kyivstar networks.
