Russians are trying to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​Izyum and establish full control over Mariupol - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russians are trying to improve the tactical position of their units in the Mykolaiv direction. They are also making attempts to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​Izyum and establish full control over Mariupol.

There are no significant changes in the position and activities of the Russian military in the Volhynia, Polissya and Siversk directions.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the invader continues to partially block Kharkiv, shelling it from missile and cannon artillery systems, mortars. The invaders are moving additional units to Izyum to strengthen the group.

In the Donetsk and Taurida operational areas, they continue to carry out artillery and mortar attacks in most directions. Also, the Russians are storming Mariupol, inflicting airstrikes and trying to capture the city center.

In the South Bug direction, the invader once again tried to establish control over the settlement of Oleksandrivka, but failed and lost personnel and equipment to the company tactical group.

Russian invaders continued to shell Novovorontsovka, Maryanske, Novogrygorivka and Shevchenkove ​​from artillery. Due to significant sanitary losses of personnel and equipment, they deployed military hospitals and repair shops in the temporarily occupied territories of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions. As a result of the constant influx of wounded Russians, there are not enough qualified doctors in hospitals. Also, invaders have problems with stocks of medicines, which are almost never replenished. Repair shop personnel must work around the clock in the absence of a stable supply of spare parts and assemblies.

Brigades are arriving from the Yaroslavl region of the Russian Federation for the repair and restoration work of the railway in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kharkiv region.

In the settlements of the Melitopol district of the Zaporizhzhya region, the Russians are searching civilian housing, checking documents, the presence of cars, food supplies, interrogating close relatives about the places of work and demanding information about former law enforcement officers, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participants in the ATO / JFO.

In Nova Kakhovka, Russians at local printing houses make propaganda materials for a "referendum on the creation of the Kherson People's Republic".

In the Luhansk region, invaders have stepped up their mobilization.

On April 9, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled eight Russian attacks in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, destroying four tanks, eight armored units and seven vehicles of the invader.

On April 9, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit three aircraft, one helicopter, five UAVs and four cruise missiles of the invaders.
