Russian troops shell 16 settlements in Kherson region, injuring 6 civilians
The Russian army is attacking the Kherson region. On Wednesday, July 17, they shelled Kherson city and villages in the region, injuring civilians
The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported the information.
In the morning, Russian troops attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson city. Due to the shelling, a 47-year-old woman sustained an explosive trauma and a shrapnel wound to the back of the head. She was taken to a hospital for medical care.
In the evening, a resident of Bilozerka village was hospitalized. A 33-year-old woman sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion.
Also, in the evening, Russian troops attacked Antonivka village. A 62-year-old man was injured.
"The victim went to the hospital on his own with a facial injury. The doctors provided him with assistance. He will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis," the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported.
In addition, on July 17, a resident of Antonivka, who had been injured the day before by Russian shelling, turned to the hospital. The 45-year-old woman was diagnosed with concussion and explosive trauma.
As of 8:24 p.m., Russian forces shelled Antonivka again, using artillery.
Two more local residents, a man and a woman, were injured. They were taken to the hospital by ambulance crews.
Previously, three people have already been injured in Antonivka due to Russian attacks.
On the morning of July 18, the head of the Kherson Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that Antonivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Velytenske, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Novoberyslav, Mykhailivka, Lvove, Sablukivka, Chervone, Novovorontsovka, Havrylivka and Kherson city came under Russian fire and air strikes over the past day.
Six people were wounded in the Russian attacks.
"The Russian military hit an agricultural enterprise; residential areas of the region's settlements, including 4 multi-storey buildings and 22 private houses. Outbuildings and cars were damaged," Prokudin wrote.
