Russian subversive group kills civilian family in Ukraine’s Sumy region
On the morning of Saturday, January 27, a Russian subversive and reconnaissance group shot a brother and sister from the Khotin community of Sumy region

Officials noted that the house of the victims is located in the village of Andriivka, which is within the 5-kilometer border zone.
"Once again, I appeal to the residents of the 5-kilometer zone to evacuate. This process has been going on for several months now, and assistance is being provided at every stage. Russian terrorists continue to kill civilians. By evacuating from the dangerous areas, you will save your lives," urged Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
Later, the Prosecutor General's Office provided details of the Russian crime.
"According to the investigation, on the morning of January 27, 2024, the Russian soldiers fired on a car with civilians traveling on the road between two villages of the Khotin community of Sumy district. A 54-year-old man who was driving and his 68-year-old sister were killed," prosecutors wrote.
