Russian soldier kills civilian in village near Ukraine’s Pokrovsk
In the village of Novoekonomichne near Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, a Russian soldier shot a local resident. Both the victim and the shooter are currently being identified
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.
According to the investigation, a video of the incident appeared on Telegram and confirmed the war crime. It was established that the event occurred on August 28.
“A Russian serviceman hid behind a garage of a private property. Seeing a man in the yard, he fired a targeted shot and killed the civilian with automatic weapons,” the prosecutor’s office stated.
Law enforcement is working to identify both the victim and the Russian soldier who opened fire.

Earlier, the First Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov reported a recorded killing of a civilian in one of the settlements of Pokrovsk district.
According to Azov, the crime was committed by a soldier of the 95th Separate Rifle Regiment of the 5th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade of the 51st Russian Army.
