The Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported the information.
According to the investigation, on August 22, around 1:00 p.m, Russian troops used methods of warfare prohibited by international law and dropped two guided bombs on the civilian infrastructure of the Esman community in the Shostka district.
The attack killed two civilian men, aged 74 and 67. The wife of one of the victims was wounded and hospitalized.
Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
