
Russian drone attack on Ukraine causes casualties, including pregnant woman

Aftermath in Kharkiv region
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that Russian troops struck the village of Velyka Babka in the Chuhuiv district with a drone. A 25-year-old pregnant woman and a 25-year-old man sustained explosive wounds as a result of the UAV falling.
"Both victims were hospitalized," the head of the administration added.
On the morning of March 24, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the Russian strike caused a fire in a warehouse building in the village of Velykyi Burluk.
"In the evening of March 23, the Russians attacked an agricultural enterprise in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk district, with strike UAVs. As a result of the drone strike, a warehouse building caught fire," the rescuers noted.
Fortunately, there has been no information about any injuries or fatalities.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia
Around midnight, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported an explosion in Zaporizhzhia. According to him, a fire broke out as a result of the Russian strike. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
Later, Fedorov added that as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia, windows of high-rise buildings, a garage, and private houses nearby were damaged by the shockwave and debris.
As of 01:00 a.m., a 54-year-old woman sought medical assistance due to the Russian shelling. She refused hospitalization.
At 02:45 a.m., the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that as a result of the attack in Zaporizhzhia, a garage caught fire and a gas pipe was damaged. At another location, drone debris was burning. Windows of high-rise and private residential buildings were damaged by the shockwave and debris.
In the Zaporizhzhia district, an outbuilding and a hayloft were on fire, and at another location, drone debris was burning.
All emergency services were working at the scene.
Kyiv region: 37-year-old man injured
This was reported by the Acting Head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.
"Unfortunately, in the Fastiv district, a 37-year-old man was injured as a result of the attack. He has superficial shrapnel wounds to his abdomen, chest, thighs, and head," the statement said.
The injured man was provided with necessary medical assistance and hospitalized in a local hospital.
As a result of the Russian attack, two private houses were damaged in the area. A fire on the premises of a commercial enterprise was extinguished.
According to the National Police, by 07:15 a.m., the fire at a construction site covering an area of 200 sq. m and a private house in the Fastiv district was extinguished. A shopping center building, a newly built property, a private house and an outbuilding were also damaged.
Patrol police response teams, investigative teams of the Kyiv regional police and the State Emergency Service are working at the scene.
