Russian army attacks Donetsk region with guided bombs, causing casualties
On June 28, Russian troops attacked the village of New York in the Donetsk region with guided aerial bombs, killing 4 people and injuring 3 others, including an 8-year-old girl

This morning, the invading Russian forces once again launched attacks on the Toretsk territorial community, the prosecutor's office says. The invaders hit the village of New York, using a KAB-250. A 45-year-old man was wounded in the head as a result of a hit to the private sector.
Another shell hit an apartment building, destroying the entrance of a 5-story building, killing four civilians aged 43 to 76.
A 39-year-old woman and her 8-year-old daughter sustained injuries. They were taken to a medical facility with mine-blast injuries, bruises and contusions. The child's condition is assessed as serious.
The attack also damaged private households and apartment buildings.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in the criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the prosecutor's office added.
