The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported the information.
He noted that the attack took place in the village of Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi. A 52-year-old man was wounded as a result of the air strike.
“This is an extremely powerful bomb that can cause serious destruction. FAB-1500 air-dropped bombs are much larger than FAB-250 or FAB-500 and have a larger radius of destruction,” wrote Syniehubov.
He noted that the launch range of such a bomb is 50-60 km, like other guided bombs, this one is launched from a Su-34 aircraft.
“We do not exclude that Russia will strike Kharkiv with such bombs,” the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added.
- On May 6, Russian troops dropped a FAB-1500 on the village of Monachivka, Kharkiv region. It was the first time that weapons of this power were used against the residents of the village.
