The Kyiv City Military Administration reported the information.

The initial threat from Russian UAVs targeting the Ukrainian capital was reported around 00:20 a.m.

About an hour later, debris was confirmed to have fallen in the Holosiivskyi and Desnianskyi districts, landing in open areas. Fires broke out but were quickly extinguished, with no reports of casualties or damage at that time.

Around 02:00 a.m., air defense systems were active over the capital.

An hour after the air raid alert was lifted, Russian drones were seen approaching Kyiv from the northeast.

By 06:20 a.m., the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA) reported that debris from the Russian attack had fallen in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Preliminary reports indicated a fire had started.

Further details clarified that the debris damaged the road surface, a lighting pole, and electrical wires. The blast wave shattered windows on the 1st and 2nd floors of a dormitory and from the 1st to the 9th floors of an office building. According to the KCMA, there was no fire and no injuries.

City officials also released photos showing the aftermath of the night’s attack.

Chernihiv region

Additionally, Russian drones targeted the Chernihiv district last night, with the air alert in the region lasting nearly 11 hours.

According to the Regional Military Administration, in one village in Chernihiv district, fragments from a Shahed drone struck a two-story apartment building, causing damage to windows, doors, the foundation, and the roof. Nearby vehicles were also affected, and an outbuilding caught fire.

In another village within the district, fragments from a Russian drone also fell, igniting dry grass.

There were no casualties reported in any of these incidents.

Kyiv region

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Kyiv region successfully repelled another massive Russian drone attack last night. Air defense forces intercepted and shot down all enemy targets, with no impacts to critical or residential infrastructure and no casualties reported.

However, falling debris caused damage in five districts. As of 08:30 a.m., windows and balconies in four residential high-rise buildings across three districts were shattered.

Additionally, five private houses sustained damage, with smashed windows and doors, as well as damage to roofs and facades. The roof of one house caught fire, and another fire was extinguished in an outbuilding.

Debris from the downed drones also damaged three cars, one of which was completely destroyed.

  • The previous evening, on November 2, Russian forces launched an attack on Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack injured eight people, including two children who were hospitalized.
