This is reported by Ukraine's Center for National Resistance.
"The Russian forces are provoking an environmental disaster in the temporarily occupied territories," the Center emphasizes.
Russia has set up an artillery range on the territory of the reserve on the Karadai Peninsula (Kherson region), which has been operating since 2020, and deployed equipment in reserves, including Askania Nova.
Ukrainian authorities note that all environmental damage is recorded and no one will be able to avoid responsibility.
- On January 19, the Resistance reported that the Russian soldiers’ moral and psychological state had deteriorated significantly due to heavy losses.
