Russia attacks village council building in Donetsk region, causing casualties
On July 5, Russian troops attacked the village of Komar in the Donetsk region, killing an employee of the village council and injuring 14 others
The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office reports.
An employee of the village council was killed and 14 of her colleagues were wounded during Russian shelling in the Volnovakha district.
It is noted that Russian forces launched 3 attacks on the village in the Volnovakha district. The target of the attack was the central part of the village.
One of the munitions hit the building of the village council, injuring 15 employees of the institution who were inside the building during the shelling.
12 women and three men were taken to hospital. One of the victims, a 32-year-old woman, died from her severe injuries while receiving medical care.
The private sector of the village also came under fire from Russian troops. The final number of casualties and the type of weapons used by the invading troops are being established.
The administrative building, residential buildings, outbuildings, and vehicles were damaged in the settlement.
