Russia targets Ukraine with ballistic missiles again, injuring civilians, damaging infrastructure in Odesa

On the afternoon of March 25, the Russian army launched ballistic missiles at Ukraine from the south for the second time in a day. There are people injured and civilian infrastructure damaged in Odesa. Currently, 300,000 households in the city are without electricity

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

At 5:25 p.m, a threat of ballistic missile attack from the south was announced.

The military also spotted a missile heading toward Odesa. Later, several more missiles were fired in the direction of the city.

Explosions were heard in Odesa, according to Suspilne.

Also, the Air Force reported the movement of a missile in the Kirovohrad region, heading for Kremenchuk.

A missile was also fired at Poltava.

Consequences of the attack on Odesa

The head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Oleh Kiper, said that Russia had launched a missile attack on Odesa.

Three women are known to have been injured, their injuries are not serious. There is damage to civilian infrastructure, broken glass. All relevant services are working. 

"As for the power supply situation: as of 7 p.m., more than 300,000 households in Odesa have no electricity. Specialists are doing everything possible and impossible to bring electricity back to the homes of Odesa residents. We stay calm, charge our power banks and believe in the Ukrainian Armed Forces," added Kiper.

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine noted that Russia struck the recreational area of Odesa with a double ballistic missile strike.

According to them, there are 4 wounded and two destroyed buildings.
