Explosions in Kharkiv and its suburbs

This night was challenging for Kharkiv residents. According to Artem Revchuk, a member of the Kharkiv City Council, who spoke on Espreso TV on the morning of November 4, residents heard three series of four explosions.

“In Kharkiv, a guided bomb hit a forest strip in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Then, around 11:10 p.m., there was a pause, and a supermarket was hit by another bomb, which exploded. About half an hour later, there was another strike near the central market and the river. It is known that 14 people were injured, mostly those near the supermarket. Guided bombs also fell in the suburbs – the Mala Danylivka community, which, along with the Derhachi community, traditionally suffers from enemy strikes,” he noted.

At 8:53 a.m., Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, provided an update on the recent Russian attack on Kharkiv. Between 8:58 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, the assault damaged windows of an infrastructure facility, as well as four market pavilions, two supermarkets, a house, a laboratory, a coffee shop, 21 trade kiosks, a shopping center, a café, two residential buildings, and 10 cars. Eleven civilians and four police officers were reported injured.

Additionally, at 11:16 p.m., Russian troops attacked the village of Mala Danylivka in the Kharkiv district. As a result, 12 private houses and a railway crossing building were damaged.

The Air Force warned about guided aviation bombs heading towards Kharkiv at 8:53 p.m. on Sunday, November 3. Just a minute later, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported explosions.

“Preliminarily, one guided bomb struck Kharkiv, while the others targeted the nearby suburbs. Information on casualties and damage is being clarified,” the report said.

Oleh Syniehubov clarified that the strike in Kharkiv occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

“The impact in Kharkiv was in a forest strip. Fortunately, this time there were no casualties or destruction,” Terekhov reported.

As of 9:20 p.m., according to the Regional Military Administration, a private house in the village of Pytomnyk in the Kharkiv district was damaged, with no casualties reported.

At 10:28 p.m., the mayor of Kharkiv reported further explosions in the city. According to Terekhov, Russia targeted the Shevchenkivskyi district. Reports indicated that one of the strikes hit a densely populated residential area. Terekhov stated that three people were injured in the Russian attacks. Syniehubov added that a supermarket was damaged.

“According to available information, there was a strike on a supermarket in the Shevchenkivskyi district, which is located near apartment buildings. Preliminary reports indicate that power lines and ground transport infrastructure were damaged. Windows in nearby buildings were shattered,” Terekhov reported.

As of 10:52 p.m., the number of injured had increased to four people, Syniehubov wrote.

At 11:11 p.m., the sound of another explosion was heard in Kharkiv, Suspilne reported.

At 11:55 p.m., Mayor Terekhov stated that as of that moment, 11 people were known to have been injured in the Russian attack.

According to Terekhov, another strike occurred near one of the markets in the city's Kholodnohirskyi district. Preliminary information suggested there were no casualties. All relevant services were working at the scene.

Meanwhile, the State Emergency Service (SES) reported that, based on preliminary data, 13 people were injured in the attack on Kharkiv.

“One of the strikes was recorded near residential buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. Multi-story residential buildings, cars, a supermarket, and other commercial properties were damaged,” the rescuers reported.

Strike on Kivsharivka in the Kharkiv region: likely deceased under the rubble

According to the Regional Military Administration, around 8:50 p.m., the Russian army struck the settlement of Kivsharivka in the Kupyansk district. As a result of the attack, a multi-story residential building was damaged.

“At this moment, one injured person is known, and there may be people trapped under the rubble,” Syniehubov reported.

He added that the Russian strike on the five-story building destroyed an apartment block, and at least three people were trapped under the debris.

“One woman was rescued. Emergency rescue operations are complicated by ongoing attacks,” Syniehubov added.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration stated that preliminary reports indicated the bodies of two women and one man were under the rubble.

Explosions in Sumy

At 7:39 p.m., Suspilne Sumy reported at least four explosions in Sumy.

Around 9:00 p.m., the Ukrainian military reported a Shahed drone heading for Sumy. Twenty minutes later, Suspilne reported explosions in the city.

Attack on the Kyiv city and region: debris fell on open terrain

Around 12:30 a.m., the Kyiv Regional Military Administration warned that UAVs had been detected in the airspace. Air Defense Forces were engaging targets.

At 5:00 a.m., the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that during the night, Russian forces used their usual tactics in a drone attack on the capital. The Ukrainian Defense Forces made every effort to destroy all UAVs.

“However, as a result of this drone attack on the capital, debris fell. In the Obolonskyi and Desnianskyi districts, debris fell on open terrain. Local fires were recorded – grass and undergrowth burned. No casualties or damage were reported,” added Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
