On Thursday, April 25, the Russian army struck near the Balakliya railway station, Kharkiv region, injuring 7 people

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported the information.

"The occupiers struck Balakliya, Izyum district. The strikes happened near the railway station," he said in a statement.

Syniehubov said that as of 5:09 p.m. there are 5 victims - 3 women and 2 men. Specialized services are working at the scene of the attack.

On April 24, Espreso reported that every day law enforcement officers in the Kharkiv region record 10 to 13 attacks by Russian troops with guided aerial bombs.

Since March, Russia has started attacking Kharkiv, which is some 30 kilometers from the Russian border, with one of its deadliest weapons: powerful guided aerial bombs known as glide bombs. They are dropped from fighter jets and carry hundreds of kilograms of explosives in a single explosion.

The Ukrainian authorities have ordered the compulsory evacuation of villages to the east of the city as Russian bombardment campaign escalates.
