Russia attacks frontline TPP, injuring 9 power engineers
On February 22, the Russian army once again shelled a thermal power plant near the frontline. As a result, 9 power engineers were injured and the plant was damaged

This was reported by DTEK, the largest energy company in Ukraine.
"The number of plant employees injured by the shelling has increased to 9. Four of our colleagues were hospitalized with injuries of varying severity. Five more sustained contusions. We are in touch with the injured, their families and doctors. We are providing all necessary assistance," DTEK wrote.
Earlier, the company reported six injured.
"The power engineers were promptly provided with first aid and taken to the hospital. The equipment of the thermal power plant was also seriously damaged," the statement says.
Since the beginning of this heating season, the Russian forces have fired at least 40 times at DTEK's thermal power plants.
- Due to the hostilities and other reasons, 351 settlements in Ukraine are without electricity. The temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP remains on one power line.
