Russia's morning strike on Kherson leaves two dead, eight injured
On the morning of October 29, Russian forces launched an attack on Kherson, resulting in two fatalities and injuring at least eight residents
The news was confirmed by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, and Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson city military administration.
Around 08:45 a.m., Russian troops targeted the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson.
A 62-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries while in his yard. In total, seven people in the Dniprovskyi district were injured by the attack. All of them have since been transported to the hospital.
Just over two hours later, Prokudin reported that the death toll from the strike had risen to two.
"A 66-year-old woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries. In total, this enemy strike claimed two lives and left seven others injured," he stated.
As of 12:40 p.m., according to Mrochko, the morning attack on the Dniprovskyi district resulted in 10 casualties — two dead and eight injured with varying levels of severity.
- Earlier that night, Russian forces also struck residential areas in Stanislav, a town in the Kherson region, injuring four people, including two children.
