On September 6, invading Russian forces abducted the secretary of the city council and her husband in Nova Kakhovka. They are currently being held at the police station.
The Kakhovka City Territorial Community wrote about this on Facebook.
"The war crimes of the Russian Federation against peaceful Ukrainian civilians continue in the Nova Kakhovka community. On September 6, the secretary of the Kakhovka City Council, Iryna Honcharova, and her husband, Volodymyr Stupin, were taken from their apartment by armed Russian soldiers," the Kakhovka City Council wrote.
It is also reported that the Russian occupiers are currently holding Iryna Honcharova and her husband at the police station.
