This was reported by the Drohobych city council.

"After the recent missile and drone strike on our community’s territory, dangerous cluster munitions have been found at the impact site, which pose a life-threatening hazard. The danger radius of such munitions is up to 30 meters. Currently, the area is controlled by the relevant services and is being inspected by explosive ordnance disposal experts," the press service of the Drohobych city council stated.

They also added that these are round, gray-looking objects that may be partly covered by debris or soil. They are especially dangerous within a 30-meter radius.

"This weapon essentially qualifies as a war crime, and using such munitions against civilians is prohibited. We know that international law often does not work in this and other wars," said military expert Mykhailo Zhyrohov on the air of "FM. Halychyna."

The area has been marked with signs saying "Danger Mines," and residents are strongly warned not to approach the industrial facility that was hit. It is deadly dangerous.

City residents are also asked:

– Avoid approaching the site of the strike;
– Do not photograph or share the location of explosive objects;
– Do not touch suspicious objects, do not dig, and do not try to move them;
– In case suspicious objects are found — immediately call 102.

Russian attack on Lviv region

On the night of June 29, the Russian army attacked the Lviv region with combat drones and cruise missiles, reported the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.

"According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries. Thanks to our air defense for this. The occupying Russian forces targeted critical infrastructure in our region. All relevant services are working on site," he wrote.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi added that Russia also tried to strike critical infrastructure in the city.

"Despite the complexity of this combined nighttime attack, no people or civilian buildings were harmed in Lviv. Thanks to the air defense forces for the protection," he noted.
