Russian troops withdrawing from Vasylivka, Zaporizhzhia region, local official allege
Dmytro Kyrylchuk, deputy of the Zaporizhzhia District Council, says that Vasylivka is the opening of a direct road to the Enerhodar direction
He said this on Espreso TV.
“The situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, i.e. in the Enerhodar direction, is very dynamic. Now there are constant tactical movements and regrouping of the enemy. And amid reports that the occupiers are withdrawing from one or another settlement, for example, from Mykhailivka, Inzhenerne, or Polohy, another factor is observed here - the tactical regrouping of the enemy, that is, the change of one type of army to another. In the Vasylivka direction, since yesterday, December 1, the local Gauleiter announced the evacuation, for which only the civilian population was previously prepared, and today our guys reported that Russian troops are already withdrawing from Vasylivka,” the deputy of the Zaporizhzhia District Council said.
Dmytro Kyrylchuk emphasized that Vasylivka is the opening of a direct road for Ukraine's Armed Forces to the Enerhodar direction.
“After all, the situation has been monitored for several days now. While the occupiers, moving away from this direction, they continue to keep a ring around Enerhodar,” Kyrylchuk noted.
