Russian troops use public beatings to punish Luhansk residents who refuse to be mobilized

The Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram. 

The press service notes: in Sorokyne, Luhansk region, local residents have repeatedly seen the public beating of men who refuse to be mobilized. Russian troops bring them to military commissariats by force.

In the Mylove settlement, according to the Regional Military Administration, summonses are issued to all men, regardless of age, health, and the number of children in their families.

The administration also reports that the occupying forces are sending SMS-messages to the subscribers of the Lugakom mobile network with warnings of criminal liability if the mobilized leave the places of service and points of permanent deployment of military units. Such actions are explained by an attempt to reduce cases of desertion in Russian military units.

• On the morning of December 11, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported that the invading Russian troops carry out forced mobilization and search educational institutions in temporarily occupied Luhansk region, looking for Ukrainian books.
