Russian troops try to secure land route between Donetsk, Luhansk and occupied Crimea, and to storm two directions in Izyum - Ukraine's General Staff

The Russian invaders continue offensive operations in the eastern operational zone to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Also, they try to establish a land route between these territories and the temporarily occupied Crimea.

In the Volhynia, Polissya and Siversk directions, the Russians did not carry out active operations; no significant changes were found in the position and activities of invader units.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the invaders continue shelling the settlements of Kharkiv, Karasivka, Prudyanka and Kororbochkino from cannon artillery and multiple launch missile systems.

In the directions of Izyum - Barvinkove ​​and Izyum - Slovyansk, the Russians tried to carry out assault operations, but failed. The Russian troops shelled the settlements of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Virnopillya and Nova Dmytrivka.

In the Donetsk and Tauride directions, the Russian troops fired artillery at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Mariupol, the Russian invaders carried out missile and bomb attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops at the Azovstal plant. Also, they continue to try to storm Popasna.

In the Southern Bug direction, the Russian invaders fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the settlements of Knyazhivka and Mykolayivka.

Also, the General Staff informs that the Ukrainian defense forces inflict significant losses on the Russian invaders. Only in the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past day, 7 attacks of Russian invaders were repulsed, 13 tanks, 3 artillery systems, 17 armored vehicles, 4 armored combat vehicles, 18 automotive vehicles and 4 tankers were destroyed.

Also, air defense units shot down 3 Russian UAVs of the Orlan-10 type.
