A boarding school and a residential building were damaged. Terekhov emphasized that there were no children in the boarding school, and that the staff was not injured. He also noted that there were no military or infrastructure facilities in the area of the strike, only residential buildings and urban infrastructure.
"The shelling targeted one of the districts of Kharkiv. A boarding school was damaged, and a residential building was also damaged. The site is being examined and the consequences are being removed. There were no children in the boarding school, there were only employees, no one was injured, and we are cleaning up the debris. This boarding school served people with certain life difficulties," he said.
Earlier, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov spoke about the explosion in the city.
"The enemy has once again attacked the civilian infrastructure of the city. This time, there were no casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene. The scale of the destruction is being clarified," the statement said.
